Scars are an integral part of the healing process and result from an overproduction of collagen at the wound site. Scars go through numerous changes as they mature, but they are permanent in nature. Bio-Oil is formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, but it can never remove them.
Usage instructions:
Bio-Oil should be massaged in a circular motion into the scar, twice daily, for a minimum of 3 months. On new scars, Bio-Oil should be applied only once the wound has healed, and should not be used on broken skin. Results will vary from individual to individual.

Reducing scar
I had burning scar which had been with me for years. My friend recommended me to use this. At first i was reluctant to try out as I thought it is useful for fresh scar. Surprisingly it works for my scars. Although it takes time but it slowly heal and reduce the scar significantly.

Best to use to avoid stretch marks

I had two scars on my leg when I met an accident few years ago.
I apply BioOil every night after shower and I can see the effect that the appearance of the scar actually reduced.
As it is quite oily, make sure that you did not apply too much and remember to massage your skin to enable it to be absorbed.

Helpful for mummy
I purchase Bio Oil after i deliver my first baby through c-sec. The scars and stretch mark visible on the skin and it’s really unhappy to see. The effects can be seen after after continuous usage and the scars reduce from the visible. The price is quite high but then I think it worthwhile. The oil is not leaving a grease on the hands and super absorbency.

This is really good product on reducing stretch mark. I got strerch mark on my tummy after pregnancy. It look really diggusting and ugly. Good for my stretch marks
I have stretch marks problems since my puberty. My skins have these marks that are really ugly and deep. My mom say I looked like people that have given birth. My stretch marks worst areas are my breast areas, my shoulders, my arms, around hips, my back and my thighs. I was very sad and have uses alot of products like sea butter and vitamin E creams but no effect at all. So 6 years ago I saw this advertisement on tv and I tried 1 bottle and I can see the difference! I was very hard working applied the Bio oil in yhe morning and again in the evening. Within a few months i can see the results. The stretch marks become less deep.Almost feel my skins a bit plumped. Sad to say my stretch marks won’t be gone, but atleast it becomes less ‘ wrinkles ‘ and make your skin so soft and moisturizer! It is one of the product that i felt really works and I recommend this to anyone who have the similar problems that i have.

Ikut keadaan parut
Sebelum ini saya mengalami kecederaan yang agak teruk akibat kemalangan jalan raya. Parut memang terlalu banyak terutamanya daripada perut dan ke bawah. Isteri saya membeli produk bio oil ini selepas melihat iklan di tv3. Saya menggunakan bio oil ini di parut yang agak besar dan memakan masa selama 6 bulan untuk hilang. Walau bagaimanapun untuk isteri saya, kesan melahirkan anak pudar selepas menggunakan bio oil dan hanya mengambil masa 1 bulan sahaja. Inexpensive and effective product

I’ve been using this for a year. It is a good product for scars. This product gives a good result. I started using when i had stretch marks after losing so much of weight. It really did a good job to my thigh. It vanished all the marks together. It contains rosemary oil, chamomile oil, lavender oil, calendula oil, vitamin A and Vitamin E.. Isteri saya telah mencuba Bio Oil ini semasa mengandungkan anak saya yang kedua dan ternyata ianya dapat mengelakkan strecth mark pada perut dan kulit perut lebih sekata serta lembut.Saya juga menggunakan pada bahagian tumit kaki yang memang bermasalah serta pecah.Ia memang berkesan mengurangan rekahan tumit kaki.

Agak berminyak & x meresap pada kulit
Bagi saya ia agak kurang berkesan hilangkan parut jerawat lama di muka.Tapi kerana teksturnya yg berminyak & x meresap dgn baik,muka saya bnyak ditumbuhi jerawat.Beli dh hampir 3 bulan & saya masih x dpt habiskannya.Saya selalu sapu dkt kawasan badan yg lain je utk melembutkan kulit.Mgkin saya lebih prefer ubat parut jenis gel & mudah meresap kerana lebih selamat & selesa urk dipakai pada kulit saya yg sensitif.

Multi purpose oil
I’m using bio oil on my second pregnancy because I’m suffering from itchy skin on my belly..I noticed that whenever I applied bio oil, there’s no more itchiness and my skin smoother and comfortable.After deliver my baby, I continued apply on my belly because stretch mark. The result is not instant but I still see the difference.. My stretch mark is faded a little. Actually I use this oil not only for my stretch mark but also rub it on my nails when I do manicure. It is make my nails shiny and gentler the cuticles. This oil is also durable because I can use it up to 1 years.

Smooth and gentle to skin.
I’ve tried Bio Oil since I had my first baby. During the pregnancy I used it to avoid the stretch marks and it clearly works. It also helped me to prevent the cracks on my heels. Quite expensive but money really can’t buy what this Bio Oil can do. I call it magic oil. Yup, it deserves that name.

Semasa saya hamil. Saya menggunakan bio oil untuk mengurangkan rekahan dan regangan. Memang berkesan. Ia juga menghilangkan rasa gatal dan pedih. Selepas bersalin anak ke tiga. Kesan rekahan memang tiada. Tidak seperti mengandung anak pertama. Walaupun kesannya agak lambat namun ia berbaloi kerana ia menggunakan bahan semula jadi dan tiada bahan kimia. Harga nya juga berbaloi seperti produk yang lain. Mudah di dapati di farmasi.

Bio oil was introduced to me by a promoter during baby fair as I was few months pregnant that time and I was told to apply Bio Oil starting since then until when I delivered. This reduce stretch marks effectively and if you only apply when stretch marks appeared, it takes longer time to heal it. So preventing is always better than cure.

Low cost products to lighten scars
Cheap and able to lighten scars. Only thing I don’t like is it’s very oily, so i do not use it regularly. And i also not dare to put it on my face due to the oily texture and i worry for my breakout will become more worst after i apply.

For the patient and disciplined

Not only for pregnant woman!
I have a huge scar on my elbow which is why i decide to try this out! It is not oily and my skin absorb it really well.
It does not really help my scar disappear completely, but it does help it fade out. I would just apply it all over my hand and legs and it helps to keep my skin moisturized! I got the small packaging one, which is perfect for travel! So overall I really love this bio oil! It is not only for pregnant woman and it’s suitable for everyone.

Great as moisturiser too - absorb well
For me, Bio-oil works well to the skin. You will only need a small application as it tends to be oily. Small application could work well with big surfaces. I use it to reduce scar at the same time moisturise my face as a make up Base. One bottle could use for months. Smell nice too and easy but need a little more time to fully absorb to skin.

It is good but requires regular application
Like many new products, Bio oil doesn’t guarantee miracles or instant results. What it does is reduce appearance of dark spots and scars while improving the quality of skin.
However this is possible only through regular use over a few months time. If you are positive that you can continue using it regularly, then you should buy it because it will get the job done.

Reduce scars
This product is able to reduce scars that is not so serious. It able to reduce the darkness of the scars after u keep using it. But it is quite oily, I usually don’t like oily products, but for scars products, I think most of them will be oily.
I hope it can be improve if it become less oily

Effective to reduce appearance of scar
I have used Bio Oil to reduce the appearance of scar on my leg. It is very effective but the only thing that I did not like was it was quite oily. I tried applying on scars on the face but it made my face oily and breakout. I did not manage to finish the whole bottle and I gave it to a friend.
