I bought this to try out and I tried it for a month. The minty scent is pleasant and the cooling sensation on the scalp after wash is also very refreshing. I had really good and healthy hair before. However last summer someone suggested to use this shampoo as it gives a very cool effect and relaxes the scalp. I purchased it immediately, at the first usage it was good and did as it was discribed, however after a couple of uses I found that I have lost a lot of hair and it happened after the usage of this shampoo. Dandruff was gone and so was my hair. I would never recommend anyone to use this shampoo ever.

Head & Shoulders Cool Menthol Shampoo, is highly recommend as it makes my scalp healthy and hair healthy always with cool sensation. Besides that, my scalp can breathe freely as there no itchy, oily and dandruff too. I just love the smell which is so pleasant and nice to use it. It is so convenient to use as I just need to press the bottle according to the amount I want and just apply it. Leave it for few seconds and then wash it off. Nice scent
Head and Shoulders Shampoo bottles are available in different sizes and I think I bought the biggest one. I bought this one for just one specific reason that it comes with a pump and thus it becomes so convenient to use. Just press the pump and sufficient amount of shampoo is out, no mess, no leakage, no spreading of shampoo around.
The smell of this cool menthol shampoo is extremely refreshing and cooling with a fruity touch. I can feel the cooling effect in the smell itself. But the cooling effect it gives on application to hair, is simply awesome. Though the cooling effect is not felt immediately after application but few minutes later. Real cooling is felt when I towel dry my hair after hair wash. The effect is so cooling that you can actually feel it all through your head. I feel so good when I wash my hair before sleeping in this hot weather.
Now coming to other things. This shampoo lathers very well. Just few drops and nice lather is formed leaving the hair squeaky clean. It cleans up all the dirt and dust particles. I don’t feel any major change in the quality of my hair, except that they look more fresh with slightly increased softness. For more soft and manageable hair, you can apply any safe leave in conditioner or any other conditioner of your choice after wash.
Regarding its anti dandruff effect, we all know Head an shoulder is known for this. People who use Head and Shoulder on regular basis, actually have dandruff free hair. But I don’t use this on regular basis, but on week ends or when I suffer with light to moderate dandruff and this shampoo works pretty well in dealing with light to moderate dandruff conditions, if used regularly. It gets rid of the dandruff in several washes if the condition is not too severe. In case of sever and heavy dandruff, you can go for any medicated shampoos like Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo, which is one of the best anti dandruff shampoo in case of severe dandruff.
Overall I am very much happy with this Head and Shoulder Anti Dandruff Cool Menthol Shampoo and would keep using this in summers. It truly gives me cooling refreshing feeling and also gets rid of dandruff and wakes up all my senses.
