Virgin coconut oil has long been reputed to have good skin and hair care effects. It's extracted from fresh coconut milk without using heat via cold compression or fermentation. It's a great moisturiser.

One tip about trying new products for baby is only try one product at a time and use a patch of skin eg back of the hand to try first. After a day if there's no reaction then it's safe.

Baby Bing is almost 18 months old now! We are very proud to announce that he's been fully breastfed until now and I still have my freezer stash since June 2017. But he's suddenly increased his appetite and doubled his milk consumption for the past month or so.

He's already eating table food but still cannot accept food that's too rough in texture. Sporting 10 strong teeth now, he can really bite and chew well. I'm using my arms and legs to testify this statement sometimes lol. But he's still a huge fan of milk.

This is how much he loves food. Feel asleep while eating with his arm still in the can.

We are anticipating his need to transition from breastmilk to other beverages. But we cannot expect him to suddenly like the taste of formula milk or other nutritious drink. Firstly, do it gradually. Start by giving baby Bing a small cup everyday. Then, substitute one of his bottles to formula milk and to step up every week.

This also gives us a chance to observe for allergies. Symptoms include rashes, breathlessness, wheezing, diarrhoea. Watchout also for lactose intolerance which will manifest as bloatedness and diarrhoea.
