Suvana Paw Paw & Honey Balm’s natural ingredients include:

Not to be confused with bee pollen or honey, beeswax is one of those natural health supplements that offers a helping hand to your skin and body. Thanks to its non-allergenic and anti-inflammatory properties, beeswax is used to soothe and protect the skin from airborne allergies. It also contains antioxidants, which work to rejuvenate, firm, and plump up skin.
Beeswax shines as a natural hydrator, which is why it is a key ingredient in many skin and lip balms. Basically, the thick, rich substance helps to lock in skin’s natural moisture, and seal the effects of other skincare products such as serums. In other words, it forms a lovely, light barrier on the skin.
While beeswax is mostly applied topically, it can also be eaten and of course they make the beautiful candles.

Many manufacturers use beeswax to help preserve foods that are prone to acid. Whether you’re applying or ingesting it, to reap the benefits it is super important to make sure you are using raw beeswax – not one that has been bleached, deodorised, or chemically processed in any way. It should be golden-yellow in colour, and have a light, honey-like scent.

Raw chocolate, also known as cacao, loves your skin from the inside out.

Rich in polyphenol antioxidants (the same antioxidants found in green tea and red wine) cacao protect our cells (including skin cells) from free radicals, which cause signs of premature ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation.

Cacao is also a rich source of Iron and Magnesium. Magnesium is important for detoxification of the skin while Iron is essential for circulation in the skin and delivering other vitamins, minerals and water to the skin via the blood. Without good circulation, skin will appear dull and sagging.

Cocoa Butter is the cream-coloured fat extracted from cacao seeds/beans. It is highly moisturising and often recommended to those with conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. When applied to the skin, the butter creates a barrier between the skin and the environment, helping to retain moisture and provide protection.

Made famous by Cleopatra, honey is arguably one of the world’s oldest natural skin care products. Fast forward a few millennia, and its reputation is as good as ever. Honey is packed with antioxidants, antibacterial and antibiotic properties, which is why it’s such a popular ingredient in health and beauty products.

Honey is naturally hydrating and soothing, making it a great skin rejuvenator. It nourishes the skin, and treats blemishes and acne. Health-wise, honey contains small amounts of calcium, zinc, and iron. It’s a great cough remedy and antiseptic, and it can help soothe digestive issues. It’s also a good, natural alternative to sugar.

Paw Paw
Paw paw is more than just a tropical treat – it’s something of a skincare saviour. The nutrient-rich fruit is full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin C.

This fruit is an organic beauty must-have because of what it does when it’s applied topically. Paw paw ointment is famous for addressing a range of skin woes, including chapped lips, minor cuts and burns, dermatitis, sensitivity, and rashes. The cream not only repairs the skin, but enhances it: it’s a great natural lip balm and gloss for eyelids and cheekbones. It can be used to de-frizz hair and tame flyaways too.

Australian made. 100% natural ingredients. Vegan. Palm oil free.
