Taste like Low Quality Cooking Oil

I taste this cooking oil a bit before cooking it, surprise me that it like not fresh, with a bit of chemical smell? Is it just me? I worry these are made from low grade oil?

My mum loves this oil so much. She never change to others except it is out of stock .The price is now more expensive than before GST. but it doesnt made her to change her decision. the food taste better is you fried with this oil. May be because the groundnut make it taste much more fragrance and nice.

My mummy loves to use it to cook

My mum loves to use Helang cooking oil to cook food daily. She has stocked up few bottles of Helang cooking oil as she cook daily for family. The food cook with Henlang cooking oil is smell nice and yummy. All my siblings and my mum’s grandchildren love to eat the food cook by my mum. Helang cooking oil is great cooking and frying. However the price become more expensive after GST implementation. But still it is a must use oil at home. We still continue using it.

The best peanut oil

Since small i saw the bottle in the kitchen. Till date my mum still loving it and used it. It has a special scented of peanut smell and would actually made your dishes nicer and fragrance. Although the price increase after GST, but it doesn’t stop my mum to continue used it.

Helang cooking oil is my mum’s favourite cooking oil. She loves to use this brand to cook dishes as the dishes cook is yummy and tasty. She has been using this cooking oil for many years. It can be easily found at hypermarkets and grocery.

Colour not consistent

Helang has also been my mother’s no.1 choice all the while. But recently she just bought a new bottle from Tesco and found it murky (right one in the picture in BM) Checked the date and it’s not expired. I try to ask some mummy’s in fb groups and some say is normal. But my mum is still in doubt. Scared is fake oil or something wrong with it. Gonna take back to change feel safer.

I have been seeing this brand in my family since I am a child. My family loves it because it is aromatic and tasty for cooking. Helang will always be my family’s first choice as we are already used to it’s taste.

Seeing this in the kitchen since small. Till my turn to cook in the kitchen, it’s still my first choice of cooking oil. But the price now is really expensive. Anyhow, it force us to use lesser oil, healthy concern?

My mom loves to use Helang oil to cook dishes. The food cook with Helang oil is tasty and the aroma of the food is nice. It is Cholesterol-free and rich in Vitamin E. The food stir-fry with Helang oil is not too oily. It can be easily found in most of the hypermarkets.

With no cholesterol and trans fat you can be assured that your cooking is healthy. There is no residual in the oil and it’s aromatic when you have a deep fried meat or just stir fry vegetable. I have try knife oil and this and I would prefer the texture of this. Easily available in hypermarket too.

I love using this brand of peanut oil because it is so aromatic and tasty for cooking. The aroma of the oil is refined and pleasant, with a nutty taste at the end. My mom would also use this to stir-fry, deep-fry and even marinate. The aroma and quality of this product has always been consistent and I’ve always been a loyal consumer of Helang Brand cooking oil myself up till now. I also like that the taste does not overpower and can also be used in baking cakes and cookies.

Choice of oil for frying food

I use Helang cooking oil to fry food because the oil is stable in high heat. Food turned out very crispy and golden colour. Suitable for frying CNY’s snacks too (seaweed popiah skin, keropok and many more)
