Honestly, I can't tell if this shampoo is doing anything to slow my receding hairline. I've been using it for a couple years now and I can't say that my hair has had some miracle turnaround. Of course I haven't tried not using this shampoo this whole time as well, so it is possible that my hairline would be in worse shape if not for this shampoo. So I'd guess that no one knows if it truly works. What I can say is that this is a good shampoo that smells nice and gets the job done
