The Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) is a private international school well-known for providing quality education to students from all walks of life.
Well into its 20th year now, the School has kept its pledge to deliver a unique education that focuses on holistic approaches to teaching and high levels of learning. Firmly founded in a British curriculum but inclusive of the best an international education has to offer, MIGS helps students to achieve positive growth and come out into the world as model individuals.
There are 12 years of study at MIGS, commencing with Reception for children aged 4-5, moving on to Junior School for children aged 5-11, and culminating with Senior School for children aged 11-16.
Students learn exclusively under the National Curriculum for England, an internationally-recognised and well-received curriculum in place since 1988. Key external assessments are conducted at three main stages (the SATs, the CAT4 and the IGCSE examinations) and internal examinations take place regularly throughout the academic year.
MIGS is well-equipped with science rooms, a computer room, an art room, a library, a multi-purpose court, a spacious football field, a hall and a dining area.
As part of the School’s emphasis on developing well-rounded individuals, students also thrive in the many co-curricular and out-of-classroom activities offered such as School and community projects, field trips and study tours, skills-based activities, sports, arts and drama.
