7 Ways to Get Rid of Flabby Arms

When you wave someone goodbye, is it not just your hand that moves but your arms jingle along with it too? Are you are embarrassed by how your flabby arms wave back and forth or how wide they are when pressed against your sides? If you’re in need of effective ways to trim those arms, here is a list of the best 7 ways to blast arm fat:

Plan what you eat

Keep a food diary and make notes of what you eat. A food diary is important to analyze what you eat as you may be eating a lot more than you think. At the end of the week, look through your entries and acknowledge your bad eating habits, if you have any. If your diet isn’t already a healthy one, start switching to a healthier diet that contains a lot of vitamins and minerals as well as keep high-calorie foods to a minimum. Your ideal diet should be one that has a ratio of 60% protein, 30% carbohydrates and 10% fat, and contain 250-350 calories daily. Also, remember not to eat two hours before bedtime. If you are even more serious about eating right or have an underlying health condition, you could also see a registered dietician to get some advice on proper nutrition and how to develop your own food plan so that you will have nutrient-dense diet.

Work your heart out

Before going specifically to the arms, commit to a good cardio workout routine first. Plan three to four times a week for a 30-minutes or one-hour session of an effective cardio exercise. Keep your exercise routine exciting and vary it to stay interested and committed. Cardio exercises include running, walking, hiking and even playing basketball. Aerobic dance would be an example of a fun cardio exercise. The key to how effectively you burn fat is the intensity of your workout – you can burn more calories in a shorter workout than with a longer, even-paced workout. Mix the exercise routine up with high intensity and low intensity trainings.
