10 Natural Remedies for Bright, Flawless Skin

Almost all of us wish for a bright, flawless, healthy and radiant skin. However, it remains a dream for many due to unhealthy diets and lifestyles, overexposure to sun, polluted environment, stress, medical issues and continuous use of chemical cosmetics. In fact, many of the skin care products available in the market are not only expensive, but also harmful because of their chemical constituents which can damage the skin.

A healthy and nutritious diet is the best and easiest way towards a healthy skin and glowing complexion. Consumption of green leafy vegetables, vitamin rich fruits, lots of water and regular workout can do miracles to the skin. Here are a list of ten simple, natural, easily available, homemade remedies for a radiant and healthy skin:

1. YOGURT FACE PACKS

Yogurt is not only rich in nutrients, but also contains lactic acid, which has skin lightening properties. It is also suitable for all skin types. Yogurt can be applied to the skin in many ways. Directly rub plain yogurt onto the skin, leave it for a few minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Another option is to mix a tablespoon of yogurt with half a tablespoon of honey and use it as a face mask for 10-15 minutes.

Yogurt can also be used with a bit of lemon juice (not to be used for sensitive skin) and oatmeal to make a thick paste and can be applied to the face. Using the yogurt face mask daily for several weeks will significantly improve the complexion and leave the skin moisturised and supple.
