Grapeseed oil by BASSO is extracted from grape seeds (Vitis ninifera L.) whose skins are a by-product of wine production. It is particularly rich in linoleic acid – an omega-6 fatty acid – and it has a medium content of vitamin E+. The antioxidant effect of this vitamin is amplified by the richness in polyphenols, an exclusive grapeseed oil feature, which supports the correct functioning of the cardiovascular system.
In order to take full advantage of its polyphenolic content, it is preferable to use it as a condiment for salads, vegetables and cheeses. It can also be used in frying because of its high fume point (235 ° C) accompanied by moderate stability over time.
