Review of Electrolux washing machine model EWF12844
I purchased this washing machine on 19/3/2018.
My previous machine was not digital and did not have a control panel. Being a senior citizen, I was a bit apprehensive when I started. However, I just follow the 4 steps listed in page 13 – 16 of the User Manual and the washing was done! Thank you for preparing such a clear and comprehensive User Manual.
I found this washing machine user friendly. The choice of programs + Options give me more flexibility in my laundry. The indicative duration is useful as there are times when more than a load of washing need to be done.
Suggestions for improvements
1. The different programs cater for different maximum dry clothes capacity. It is hard to remember them. It would come in very handy if a sticker with the table which is listed in page 11 of the user manual is placed on top of the machine. It could have less information like below:

The spin speed and options are intelligently controlled by the panel anyway.
2. It would be more desirable if the washing machine could be less noisy while spinning as washing is usually done in the wee hours of the morning.
3. The water drain hose is too short. I have to join another hose to the water outlet. There is a slight leakage at the joint.
4. Another problem with the water drain hose (not specific to brands) is rats bite off the tip at the outlet. Just wonder if improvement is possible.
Overall, after using this washing machine for 5 months, I am happy and satisfied. I only hope that it is durable as it is made by Electrolux
