OPTI-i
Protecting the eyes
This contains astaxanthin, an antioxidant which is supposed to be good for the eyes. I have dry eyes and they tire easily after a long day working on the laptop. The powder comes in sachets and is easy to take, just mix with 100ml of water. It is pleasant and fruity-tasting, slightly sourish but not too bad. I just started taking it so it is still too early to tell if it has any benefits. Always consult a doctor before taking supplements.
OPTI-C
Superfood for eye health
I tried this Opti-C because I heard it is good for eye health and can help problems with dry eyes and even help prevent eye diseases. To me, my eyes are essential for health and to do my job and take care of my family. I have dry eyes and they get tired easily because I spend almost the whole day on my laptop and mobile phone. This is quite easy to take, just 2 teaspoons a day and you can mix it with your favourite food. It tastes a little bit coconutty. I just started using it though so can't really report any benefits seen yet.
Biofizz Nutrifit 365
Healthy drink for mind and body
I wanted to try this because it has Alpha Lipoic Acid which I read may help to prevent alzheimers or dementia. When I got the product, it turns out it also contains pea protein, whole oat powder, olive extract, calcium, vitamin D3, vitamin A, biotin, folic acid, and prebiotics and many other nutrients. Not only that, it is lactose-free, with no sugar added and is suitable for vegetarians. Just add 2 scoops to 200ml of warm water and it is ready to be served. It is quite creamy yet light, somewhat like a natural soy drink. I guess that's not a surprise as it does contain soy protein and soy bean powder. I think this would also be good for pre- or post-workouts, or those looking to increase their protein intake (like me) as it is a protein drink. It does make me feel quite satisfied and full after drinking it, so could be a replacement meal perhaps when I am too busy to eat a proper meal.
