Oppo’s F1 range of smartphones have always been aimed at selfie enthusiasts. While the F1 was a mid-range offering, the F1 Plus was a more premium option.
Now Oppo has launched the F1s — it sits right in the middle and combines features from both the F1 and F1 Plus. First and foremost, the highlight of this selfie loving smartphone is the front 16MP camera.
The 16MP unit has a 1/3.1-inch size sensor along with f2.0 aperture. Specs aside, the front camera on this phone is quite impressive because it captures excellent details with rich colour and minimal noise.
Photos are well-lit even indoors. Apart from the Oppo F1 range, we have not seen any smartphones managing this such kind of performance from a front camera in this price range. We liked that Oppo does not restrict you from using the front camera only for selfies.
the F1s gets a bigger 3,075mAh battery which easily manages to last one full day of usage — with WiFi or 4G constantly connected. Performance from the phone is fantastic — the Color UI is optimized to deliver smooth performance as we have seen earlier on the F1 Plus also.
With the Oppo F1, Oppo has managed to deliver a mid-range smartphone that will attract not just selfie enthusiasts, but also consumers who want a stylish device with a great set of features and performance.
