Its small, portable, and runs good. better with a SSD swap. With SSD drive the laptop boots in seconds. Its not hard to change if your a techie, otherwise get someone to do it for you. I just happen to have a spare SSD drive laying around. Removing the cover was a piece of cake compared to other laptops that I have experienced disassembly as a former Service provider for some of the big tech sellers. I did find a hardrive mount/cover screw that was not screwed in all the way...about halfway. No consequence here but *hit happens.
Windows 10: My first venture with it. I like the layout and love the tablet features. I hate the telemetry, lack of privacy. I disabled most of it as it will also use bandwidth and battery reserves. The first thing I noticed and thought would be the biggest deterrent to non techies is the long wait time to log on which I discovered is a "Windows 10" feature. It has to connect to a wireless access point, then you need to enter your windows live credentials so it can authenticate you to microsoft. This can be disabled in settings, selecting local logon. It will then bypass the need for a wireless connection to logon. Note otherwise: It still allows you to log on but takes a while to timeout and ask you to enter the last known password again.
