vtech Safe & Sound Full Color Video and Audio Monitor offers parents peace of mind with its 2.4GHz FHSS technology for secure connection and clear sound without interference.
The baby unit is equipped with a VGA camera with vertical angle adjustment, infrared for night use and digital zoom. The camera is wall mountable with no additional bracket needed. It operates on mains power (no rechargeable batteries needed). It includes 5 lullabies with 5 levels of volume setting. The baby unit has a temperature sensor in 1 degree steps up to 25 degrees as well as a speaker/microphone for 2 way communication with parental unit.
The parental unit comes with a 2 inch colour display screen and shows videos in MJPEG format with up to 25 frames per second. It uses a rehargeable battery pack for 2.5 hours active video monitoring time between charges. The LCD has room temperature monitoring, a speaker/microphone for 2 way communication with baby unit and 5 volume levels and volume off. It also has an audible alert for low battery and out-of-range situations.

Received this as a gift after i added it to my baby registry. Got the extra camera too because im pregnant with #2. A little disappointed i couldn’t add the cheaper “bundle” of two cameras and a parent unit to my registry so my MIL purchased the second camera separately but i LOVE the system just the same. We are upgrading from the Fisherprice one-camera system and its a BIG difference in quality, for sure. You can definitely feel in your hand its made very well. Ive taken it all over the house and have yet to face a loss of signal (hasn’t gone lower than two bars actually) the kick stand on the back gives it a nice tilt on a counter or coffee table so you can easily see the screen. And i love that the antenna lays flush when not in use, making it all the more convenient. Seriously i could go on all day. NO cons so far coming from me!

This Vtech Safe & Sound Full Color Video and Audio Monitor really help me go through my day easily. My house is a double storey, so it is really hard for me before as I have to rush up and down stairs quickly to monitor my baby. With this gadget, it really help. The parent unit so handy as I can bring it anywhere and doing my chores and at the same time can monitor my baby at baby cot. The wireless distance can cover up the entire house (double storey). I like the 2 way communication speaker/microphone, you can hear the sound very clear without interference. The parental unit come with display colour and also got night mode version. I try the night mode version, and still you can see very clear in the dark. Besides, it also can monitor the temperature of the room and come with lullaby song. Recommended for parents to use.

vtech Safe & Sound Full Color Video and Audio Monitor is great for not only listening to baby but also watching. Can helps me relax in the knowledge that my child is comfortable.Can bought this monitor to monitor my family, with having sound and a talkcamera and monitor.So modern, and attractive.It was ideal for us to communicate room to room in case of an emergency.
