For matsu sakura, the designer Masaki Matsushima was inspired by the sakura flower: a cherry blossom with a rich symbolic often associated to graceful, volatility and exquisite beauty. In Japan, Cherry trees are everywhere. Their blossoming announces the Spring season and is celebrated during Hanami (: 花 見 : means ‘flower viewing’), a traditional custom of enjoying the ephemeral beauty of flowers.
With this new fragrance, Masaki redefines the word ‘delicacy’ with a unique, contemporary perspective.
