i-City is a 72 acre ICT-based urban development beside the Federal Highway in Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Planned by architect Jon A. Jerde, i-City was designed as a fully integrated intelligent city, comprising corporate, leisure and residential components such as a 1 million sq. ft. regional shopping mall, office towers, Cybercentre office suites, hotels, apartments, data centers, and an innovation center.

Officially endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, i-City entertainment area is divided into 4 precincts:

• City of Digital Lights – with amusing outdoor park rides and over 1.5 million LEDs lightscape;
• Snowalk – a 50, 000 square feet arctic setting maintained below 5 degree Celcius;
• WaterWorld – a water theme park introducing the first Tornado Ride in Southeast Asia; and
• FunWorld – offer family-oriented activities and games with Malaysia’s first interactive wax museum, The Red Carpet, and Malaysia’s first Trick Art Museum.

These four precincts each have their own unique attractions – from the Snowwalk’s fairy-tale winter landscape to the Digital Light’s breath-taking luminous ‘lightscape’ set in a forest of maple and pine. No matter who you are, there’s bound to be something here in i-City for you and your family to enjoy!
