A 72 acre ICT-based urban development, i-City is located beside the Federal Highway in Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor. Originally conceived by architect Jon A. Jerde, i-City was designed as a fully integrated intelligent city, comprising corporate, leisure and residential components such as a 1 million sq. ft. regional shopping mall, office towers, Cybercentre office suites, hotels, apartments, data centers, and an innovation center.

Officially endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, the i-City entertainment area is filled with all sorts of amazing activities meant to appeal to parents and children alike. There are theme parks, rides, play areas, haunted houses, and many other attractions for you to explore!

i-City’s entertainment district is divided into 4 precincts: City of Digital Lights, Snowalk, Water World, and Funworld. Each of these areas have their own unique attractions – from the Snowwalk’s fairy-tale winter landscape to the Digital Light’s breath-taking luminous ‘lightscape’ set in a forest of maple and pine. No matter who you are, there’s bound to be something here in i-City for you and your family to enjoy!

City of Digital Lights

This one-of-a-kind attraction uses over a million LED lights to create a ‘lightscape’ set in a forest of maple and pine with jewel-toned luminosity. It features an outdoor theme park with rides such as the Superswing, SpaceWalk and the all-time favorite – 2-Tier carousel.

Visitors can also visit Mist Fountain and see the lights blur in the thick foggy mist or be mesmerized by the Dancing Waters – a spectacular display of choreographed audio, lights, lasers and water jets that shoot up to 40 meters. This dazzlingly otherworldly landscape is definitely something to remember. Don’t forget to bring your camera – this is the perfect place to take some gorgeous shots!

Itsy Bitsy

A magical park where adults and parents can relive their childhood while spending time with their children as they join the hardworking ants. They can even have a fun moment together as Mr & Mrs Bee busily buzz around ferrying ‘kids’ to their “beehive”.

Designed specifically for the little ones, Itsy Bitsy contains a variety of readily available rides for little ones, including ever popular crowd pleasers such as the Mini Pirate Ship, Rocking Chaise Car and Fitness JR where kids’ stamina and physical strength are put to the test. The colorful rides and adorable mascots are bound to keep your kids entertained for hours.

5D Cinema

Enjoy a movie experience unlike any other! In i-City’s 5D cinema, you won’t just see the movie – you’ll feel what it’s like to be in the movie!

Feel every stumble as you ride on your vehicle, and feel your heartbeat when it screams along with the roar from the wild. Using special viewing glasses and high tech devices incorporated into the seats, you’ll get to experience wind blowing, water splashing, and other such effects that are all brought together to bring your movie to life. Snowalk

SnoWalk is South East Asia’s first indoor winter wonderland. It is climate-controlled at below 5 degrees Celsius with 100mm of snow underfoot and provides an unforgettable Arctic experience to anyone looking to escape the tropical heat. For many Malaysians, this might be the first time they ever get to experience snow. Just remember to wrap up warm and dress appropriately for the winter chill.

Fortunately, SnoWalk provides warm jackets to all visitors (included in the entrance price). You can also rent out trousers and boots for an additional fee – unless you’re feeling really brave, you shouldn’t go inside while wearing shorts or slippers.

SnoWalk features over 50 thousand square feet of floor space and over 100 tonnes of ice sculptures shaped by a team of 30 artists from Harbin, China. It also features a play zone for fun activities such as snowman-making, ice-sliding and tobogganing. There are also multiple ice slides and a mini football ice field, an igloo, an ice tunnel and many more.

Space Mission

Space Mission provides visitors with a glimpse into the many wonders of intergalactic travel and deep space exploration while challenging the mind to think beyond the ordinary.

This 30 thousand square foot edutainment attraction aims to re-ignite the interest in space science and technology in an innovative fashion – by making it an affair where families can immerse in various forms of futuristic space travel adventures.

Visitors boarding the Starship Explorer at Space Mission will feel as though they’ve entered a time capsule and transported into the future – coming face-to-face with sweeping views of the galaxy, warping through wormholes, alien/humanoid encounters, whizzing comets and meteor showers and even participate in a space battle.
