Prices Maintained For Sharp’s Made-in-Malaysia Products
Good news, shoppers, Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (SEM) today launched the Sharp My AQUOS campaign and highlighted that prices for Sharp’s Made-in-Malaysia products will remain the same throughout the campaign which runs from 1 September to 31 December 2018.
Sharp’s Made-in-Malaysia products include the popular AQUOS LED TVs manufactured in Batu Pahat, Johor and audio products produced in Sungai Petani, Kedah. During the Sharp My AQUOS campaign, prices for Sharp AQUOS 40″ LED TV (LC40SA5100M) will still be available at its pre-SST price of RM999.
In the spirit of Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day, Sharp announced that it will contribute RM5 from the sales of each Made-in-Malaysia products during the campaign to Tabung Harapan. Should the government conclude the collection of Tabung Harapan before 31 December, Sharp will contribute the amount collected to charitable organisations as part of its CSR programme.
“Although we are a Japanese brand, we have a long and successful history in Malaysia since 1974. As such, we truly feel we are part of these joyous occasions, and it is timely for us to recognise the support of Malaysians to Sharp all this while through this contribution,” said Robert Wu, the Managing Director of Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
