Built adjacent to Ikea, the brightly colored IPC Shopping Center (formerly known as Ikano Power Center) is a familiar sight to those who’ve visited the bustling Mutiara Damansara area before.
At IPC, family always comes first. The complex itself is designed to be easily accessible for all; children, elderly, and disabled alike. There’s even a special kid’s entrance on Level G that’s sized perfectly for little people.
Shopping with babies? Simply head on over to the i-Counter and you can collect a baby stroller that can be used anywhere in IPC. There are also kid friendly toilets and Family Rooms on Levels G and 2 which are fully equipped with baby changing tables, nursing chairs, and washing facilities.
After a fun-filled day, you can head back to your car, secure in the knowledge that the family friendly parking lot is clean and brightly lit. It even has special parking lots designated specifically for families to ensure that your shopping trips is as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Young Chef Academy
If you think your child could be the next Gordon Ramsey or Nigella Lawson, sign them up for classes at Young Chefs Academy (YCA) – a cooking school just for kids.
Young Chefs Academy is a unique culinary experience which offers cooking classes to children aged 3 to 17 in a safe environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Each visit to Young Chefs Academy is a new experience with fresh monthly themes and exciting new programs.
Young Chefs Academy classes take the fear, mystery and the unknown out of cooking, encouraging a love of cooking from your kids. In addition, each class and event incorporates supplemental subject matter which ties into each theme. Their highly qualified teachers, chefs and nutritional experts provide an interactive learning experience that gives children the opportunity to develop a life-long love for the culinary arts. Hence, they may grow up to become self-sufficient in the kitchen, leading to a healthier, more independent and well-rounded generation.
There are 3 types of classes available at Young Chefs Academy, each of which is suited to a different age group: Kinder Cooks (3-6 years old), Junior Chefs (7-11 years old), and Senior Chefs (11-17 years old). The Pet Safari
Animal lovers should definitely take the time to visit The Pet Safari – a family shopping experience that even pets enjoy.
The Pet Safari is a huge pet store where the kids can meet adorably fluffy woof-woofs, meow-meows, and so much more. The Pet Safari is not your average ordinary pet store – in fact, it’s almost like a theme park in design, a vast complex where you and your pet can shop together in air-conditioned comfort. The concept of the IPC branch is “Deconstruction Site”. Visitors are allowed to be ‘engineers’, briefing the construction workers to make sure that everything is in order… just like how you make sure that your pet is happy with products and services from The Pet Safari.
With over 14, 000 pet related products on the shelves, you’re sure to find everything you need to spoil your pet rotton. In fact, there’s so much stuff available that you might even have problems deciding what to get. But don’t worry, The Pet Safari’s expert pet care consultants are always around. With their vet training and experience, they’ll be able to make recommendations and give your great advice on what exactly your furry companions need.
Aside from that, The Pet Safari also offers a variety of services for pet owners. There’s pet grooming, vet consultations, and even a pet cafe that serves food suitable for your dog or cat!
