I bought this no for my husband. He loves to get back and head massages. I don't like giving them to him, but this oil makes him smell so good that I'm much more inclined. It's a fairly small glass bottle. But depending on what you want it for you might not meet much. It just take about 5 drops of oil to massage into your scalp. I don't know if it's really stimulating follicles or not, but the aroma lasts for a while and it definitely moisturizes hair and skin. If you like the way the Aveda store smells, you'll like this. It's very woodsy and invigorating
