Geranium essential oil is extracted from the plant Pelargonium graveolens of the Geraniaceae. This sweet and rosy fragrant essential oil is extracted through steam distillation of the plant’s leaves and stalks.

In fact geranium essential oil is used to replace rose essential oil for this reason as pure rose essential oil is about 5 to 6 times the price of geranium essential oil.
