The Japan Beauty Week (#JapanBeautyweek) is back for the fourth time. Organised by the Japan Cosmetic Industry Association (JCIA), supported by the Japanese Embassy, the event took place at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador, H.E. Dr. Makio Miyagawa.

Japan is undoubtedly the leader when it comes to the beauty and personal care scene, with the highest per capital spending and sales figures on these products.

“It is a well-known fact that the Japanese beauty industry has a long tradition of respect for nature and the arts to master the secret of technological innovations. This is why Japanese products are widely acknowledged as the most advanced,” said Mr. Tetsuya Kambe from JCIA.

Several leading Japanese cosmetic brands displayed their latest products and provided beauty consultations at the event, including Kanebo Cosmetics Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Kao (M) Sdn Bhd, KOSE (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Nippon Menard (M) Sdn Bhd, Shiseido Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Sunstar Singapore Pte Ltd.

Shiseido’s Future Solution LX features the proprietary Skingenecell 1P which helps in skin regeneration, resulting in breathtakingly beautiful skin.

Sunstar’s Ora2 oral products are coming our way in March! We love their Matcha Mint mouthwash which is refreshing and makes our mouth feel awesome!

The new Kao’s Liese Creamy Foam Colour range is great to cover grey hair while giving amazing colours. It is exclusively available at Guardian pharmacies.

Menard Embillir’s exclusive skincare range will leave your skin feeling radiant and supple.

There was also a special appearance by Ms. Akari Makamuta, a 25-year-old famed Japanese TV personality.

Here’s to another resounding success for Japan Beauty Week!
